With a keen interest in walking and travel, Helen has always been inspired to capture images of her surroundings, and much of her work has evolved from her photographs.
Helen is a textile artist whose work brings together the more contemporary digital manipulation of images with the more traditional elements of fabric and stitch. She uses a range of techniques from drawing and monoprinting to digital printing on fabric, fabric paint and stitch.
Working with natural fabrics and threads usually in muted colours, Helen produces framed textile pieces, printed and stitched greeting cards, covered notebooks and other stationery.
